Realistic custom content/Alpha hairs bother me way too much as they don't match the rest of the game. I prefer Maxis-match custom content (the kind that matches matches the game's graphics). If you don't do this, half the Sims in your town will walk around with a nearly-bald head, only a few patches of color sitting on top.
Anyway, this time around I really want to make sure I download original mesh edits first. I do this every time I pick the game back up, as I want to start fresh and weed out the bad content (I'm stupidly too lazy to make lists of what I download so I don't know what hairs I forgot to download original meshes for, things that make my game unable to start, etc. I've devoted my free-time lately to downloading as much as possible, scrolling through my 2,000+ cc reblogs on Tumblr. Lately, I've been on a custom content craze (find my Simblr where I reblog all of this lovely cc here).
